Bed and breakfast update 19th July 2021 (Freedom Day):
We are operating as we were before the 19th July 2021 – the following still applies to keep you, and us, as safe as possible.
Ford Farm House B&B is open for business!
It’s good to be open again! The UK Government announced that we, Ford Farm House Bed and Breakfast, could reopen on the 17th May 2021.
We understand this is a tricky time for everyone, which is why we have done everything we can to help make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible.
Keeping our guests safe
One of the effects of the pandemic is that we have made certain changes to the usual ways in which we welcome our guests. We hope that these will help you to feel safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy every minute of your holiday.
In normal times, our cleaning regime ensures the highest standards, but we now have to carry out extra sanitising and disinfection procedures. To give us plenty of time for this, we have changed our departure time slightly to 09:30 instead of 10:00.
We are advised not to service your room while you are here, so would you bring down your dirty crockery etc. and leave it on the hall table. We will wash it and replace it on the table for you to collect. Please let us know if you need supplies topped up.
All bedding, duvets, blankets, pillows and cushions will be rotated for every changeover so that there will be a week for everything to be washed and aired ready for the next guests.
It would be greatly appreciated if you would strip the bed before you leave, and place linen plus towels etc., in the bags that we will provide for the purpose. There is no need to take off the mattress and pillow protectors. In addition, please tie up your rubbish bags, and weather permitting, would you open the windows. We are always available, whether by email, phone or text, or in person, to help you with any concerns that you might have during your stay.
Thank you for your co-operation.
We’re Good To Go
As well as giving you our word, we have also applied, and successfully obtained, the ‘We’re Good To Go Industry Standard’ from Visit England.
Acquiring the Industry Standard mark means that our business has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
Below is a copy of our certificate.
