Looking for creative ways to entertain the kids this half term? Things are about to get a little spooky at Carisbrooke Castle, as English heritage host a special Halloween adventure this half tern.
Set high amongst the island’s rolling hills, and full of tales of a king’s imprisonment, this epic fortress is the perfect setting for a spooky adventure. Bring the family along to hear spooky stories and work as a team to follow creepy clues the specially created Spooky Quest, and discover the castle in a whole new light. Plus, come in your scariest outfits for a chance of winning the fearfully fun fancy dress competition!
Spooky Carisbrooke Castle takes place from Saturday 24th October – Sunday 1st November.
Or, if something a bit more bone-chilling is more your style, grab your torch and explore the castle after hours for take a spine-tingling journey through the past (Ghost Tours suitable for ages 16+).
