Festival of Transport comes to Isle of Wight Steam Railway

Festival of Transport comes to Isle of Wight Steam Railway 1920 1280 Ford Farm House Bed & Breakfast - Isle of Wight Holidays

It’s good news if you have a passion for car, lorries, trucks, bikes or any type of vehicle for that matter… then the Isle of Wight Railway’s Festival of Transport is for you.

6 September 2020 | Free entry to event*

A wide range of vehicles which are all privately owned and part of someones cherished ownership. Their pride and joy.

There is everything from vintage trucks and old fashioned bicycles to modern-day polished cars.

If you would like to take part in displaying your car, bike, van etc then do get in touch with the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.

All vehicles must be in the main events field at Havenstreet by 10:00 on the day and remain there until 16:00.

Complete your day with a trip aboard one of their steam trains, which are reminiscent of Island transport from a bygone era.

Wander on down to the Train Story Discovery Centre and learn more about the history of the Island’s railway.

*Entry to this event is free. If you wish to board the steam train, usual operating day fares apply.

More details can be found on the iwsteamrailway.co.uk website.
