Santa will be returning to Havenstreet this Christmas for his extremely popular festive visit to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
Tickets for ‘Santa Specials’ are now on sale via the railway’s website and with limited availability, they are expected to sell out.
In keeping with the Railway’s heritage, this year’s visit to Santa will be a more traditional affair. With mulled wine, mince pies and a distinctively Victorian feel about the whole event, Santa will be taking up residence inside one of the beautifully restored carriages in Train Story, the Railway’s undercover, interactive museum.
Every visitor will receive a festive tipple (juice for the children) and a treat while enjoying live music and magical entertainment.
Those visiting Santa will also be able to hop aboard a beautifully restored carriage hauled by on the railway’s steam locomotives, to Smallbrook and Wootton.
Steve Backhouse, General Manager of the IW Steam Railway, has said:
“There are many Santa experiences to choose from across the Island, and this year the Isle of Wight Steam Railway brings something a little more traditional to the festivities. We want to keep the whole family entertained for a few hours and leave the little ones with memories to last a lifetime”.
This year’s event will commence on 5th December and booking is absolutely essential.
Tickets for Santa Specials are available via the website only at iwsteamrailway.co.uk/book-tickets. Reservations cannot be made by phone.
